#2 ALAN HUTTON

MATCH WORN vs NORTHERN IRELAND

AVIVA STADIUM, DUBLIN, 9th FEBRUARY 2011

Adidas started to manufacture the National Team kits for the first time in 2010.  This home shirt was a throwback to the popular seventies combination of navy shirt, white shorts, and red socks.  In a fairly basic template, the Scottish lion rampant shield was incorporated into the material on the front of the shirt.

The shirt made its debut in a 1-0 friendly win over the Czech Republic at Hampden on 3rd March 2010, and was subsequently worn in the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign, where the finals would be held in Poland and Ukraine.

This long sleeved number 2 shirt featuring the tournament sleeve patches was worn by Tottenham right back Alan Hutton in a 3-0 win over Northern Ireland at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin in the Carling Nations Cup, a series of games in the first part of 2011 against Northern Ireland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland.
